Sarah Clement: Founder & Formulator ~ Herbalist, Momma, Entrepreneur, Nature's student, Teacher, Tree hugger ~
I began Jeanne Wildherb Botanicals in my home apothecary in 2015 and continue to grow through local farmers markets and educational venues. Raised in the Appalachian mountains of West Virginia, I grew up spending endless hours gardening with my mother, exploring the woods, swimming in the creek, and swinging from the wild grape vines. I began studying herbalism while expecting my first baby and now teach children and adults about herbs, conservation and foraging. Focusing on local plants and backyard remedies, I encourage people to engage in their own self-care, beginning with the plants growing right outside their doors.
I advocate for plant conservation and sustainable wildcrafting. To learn more about sustainability and conservation, visit the plant conservationist organization United Plant Savers. Inspiration: Patterns, late nights, philosophical conversations, adventure stories and folklore Favorite Things: Fascinating stones, reading about other cultures and history, creating with clay, dancing, yoga, building gardens, laughing, riding roller coasters Nourishment: Walking in the woods, sitting with moving water, time alone to reflect and create, snuggling with my boys, herbal cocktails and tea Astrology Sign: Aries Hometown:Bethany, West Virginia
