Sarah Clement is a community herbalist, educator, and founder of Jeanne Wildherb Botanicals. With a focus on local herbs and backyard remedies, she encourages people to engage in their own self-care using the plants growing in their own region. Passionate about nurturing body and soul through natural means, she has developed herbal teas and body care products that support and nourish your life.

Sarah grew up in the Appalachian foothills of West Virginia, learning about plants from experience. Throughout and beyond her Bachelor's studies, she continued to expand her botanical knowledge through art. After years of teaching children's ceramics in Indiana, she moved to Columbus, Ohio. There she cultivated relationships with new friends, and local organic farmers who helped shed light on how conventional medicines, self-care products, and foods do more harm than good to our bodies and our environment.

Inspired by her midwife, Sarah formed an herbal study group for new mothers and began to grow her herbal library. She expanded on her learning in a year-long herbal apprenticeship, foraging and plant workshops and herbal conferences. Sarah turns to the teachings of herbalists including Rosemary Gladstar, Matthew Wood, Aviva Romm, Guido Mase, Margi Flint, Jim McDonald, and Erika Galentin, wild food experts such as Samuel Thayer, and the plant conservationist organization United Plant Savers.

Sarah now teaches fun and informational classes in herbalism, and leads wild plant walks, and advocate for plant conservation.
